Overview

Welcome to ShukrAI. We treat your personal details with the same care a tradition gives a sacred manuscript. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you hold — when you use the ShukrAI mobile app or visit shukrai.com.

ShukrAI is operated from Delhi, India. By using ShukrAI, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your name and email address, provided when you sign in (for example, through Google Sign-In) so we can secure your account and restore your readings across devices.
• Birth details — your date, time, and place of birth. These are required to compute your Janma Kundali, daily predictions, and other Jyotish readings.
• Photos you choose to upload — for example, a face or palm image for a reading. See Section 2.
• Spiritual content — the charts, readings, reflections, and history generated for you within the app.
• Consultation call recordings — if you take a live voice consultation with an astrologer, the call audio may be recorded for quality, safety, and dispute resolution. Both people are informed at the start of the call.
• Seva details — if you subscribe to or book a ShukrAI Seva ritual, we collect your name, gotra, WhatsApp number, delivery address, and (optionally) email — so the ritual can be performed and recorded in your name, and any physical items can be shipped to you.
• Purchases — records of in-app purchases (such as Sphatik) processed through Google Play Billing, and records of Seva payments processed through our third-party payment processor (currently PayU). We do not see or store your card or bank details.
• Device & usage data — a device identifier, app interactions, and diagnostic data used to keep the app working, personalize your experience, and prevent abuse.
• Notification token — if you opt in to notifications, a push token so we can deliver your daily reading and announcements.

2. Birth details & photos

Some data you share is deeply personal, and we treat it accordingly.

• Birth details are used solely to calculate astrological readings. They are not used for advertising and are never sold.
• Photos you upload for face, palm, or soulmate readings are processed to generate that reading. This processing may involve trusted AI infrastructure providers (see Section 4). We do not use your photos to identify you elsewhere, and we do not sell them.

3. How we use your data

• To generate and personalize your Vedic readings, daily predictions, and remedies.
• To create and secure your account and sync your spiritual records across devices.
• To process purchases and deliver the features you unlock.
• To send the notifications you have opted in to.
• To uphold the safety of our platform — including detecting fraud and abuse of rewards or referrals.
• To record consultation calls (when you take one) for quality, safety, and resolving disputes.
• To perform, record, and deliver the Seva rituals and physical items you order, and to reach you on WhatsApp about them.
• To understand how seekers use the app so we can improve it.

4. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that make ShukrAI work, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Google / Firebase — for authentication, secure cloud storage, app functionality, analytics, and notifications.
• AI infrastructure providers — to generate certain readings (for example, processing an uploaded photo or producing an interpretation).
• Google Play Billing — to process in-app purchases.
• Real-time voice infrastructure — to carry, and where applicable record, live astrologer voice calls.
• Partnered pujaris & temples — your name and gotra, spoken aloud as part of the sankalpa, so your Seva ritual is performed and recorded in your name. No other personal data is shared with them.
• Payment processor (PayU) — to process Seva payments by UPI, card, netbanking, or UPI Autopay. We do not see or store your full card or bank details.
• Shipping & courier partners — your delivery address, so physical Seva items (such as a Rudraksha mala, yantra, or prasad) can be shipped to you.
• WhatsApp — to send you ritual proof (video or photos), Seva reminders, and to process cancellation requests you send us.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose data where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

These providers process data under their own terms and security commitments. ShukrAI's interactive features and rewards are administered by ShukrAI; external platforms such as Google are not sponsors of, or associated with, those activities.

5. Safeguarding

Your information is protected with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access-controlled cloud infrastructure. No digital connection is ever perfectly immune to the world, so we continually strengthen our technical gates — and we ask you to guard your own login credentials with intention.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you request deletion, we remove your personal data, though some records may be retained briefly where required for legal, accounting, or audit purposes.

7. Your rights

• Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to fix details that do not reflect your truth.
• Erasure — ask us to remove your presence from our records. The simplest path is our Account Deletion page.
• Withdraw consent — turn off notifications at any time, and decline optional photo-based readings.

8. Children's privacy

ShukrAI is intended for mature seekers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will move swiftly to remove it.

9. Revisions

We may refresh this policy to match our evolving practices or new laws. When meaningful updates occur, we will note them here with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use ShukrAI after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
